Grand Teton National Park: Grand Teton Climbs

Climb the Grand Teton, one of the world's most beautiful mountains, with Jackson Hole Mountain Guides. The summit of the Grand Teton (13,770') is an excellent mountaineering goal. Under the direction and experience of a seasoned mountain guide this mountain is accessible to many.
Most climbing on the Grand begins in early June and ends in mid-September. However, JHMG will guide the Grand Teton and other peaks in Grand Teton National Park any month of the year, conditions dependent.
Climbing the Grand Teton requires prior climbing experience. Before attempting the Grand, most clients choose to enroll in two climbing classes. Our classes are designed to give you the skills you need for a successful experience on the mountain. Climbers who have some multi-pitch climbing experience may only need to refresh their multi-pitch skills for a day at our local crag. Those with extensive and recent climbing experience may qualify for the climb without a refresher.
If you believe you are qualified to bypass our basic course, contact our office and we'll discuss your options. There are many excellent mountaineering routes appropriate for experienced climbers.
While we are happy to arrange custom climbs and private groups, we offer several standard ways climb the Grand. Prices are per person in groups of two or more unless otherwise noted.
