International Climbers’ Festival

icf8
This year’s International Climbers’ Festival will be held July 9th - 13th, 2008 in the classic mountain town of Lander, Wyoming. Lander is home to some spectacular rock climbing, and is well worth a week’s visit.

This year marks the 15th year of the Climbers’ Festival--a great event with a myriad of opportunities for learning skills, meeting other climbers, demo-ing gear, and nightly entertainment. Jackson Hole Mountain Guides offers climbing rescue clinics on both weekend days, as we have for many years.

teen_climb_2006Proceeds from the festival support three local Lander scholarships and programs, including the Jim Ratz Memorial Scholarship, which sponsors 2 local students on a Grand Teton climb with us every summer. Jim was a Jackson Hole Mountain Guides owner for several years, and his tradition of safe, fun climbing is carried on with this scholarship.

Tickets are a great deal at $40 per adult and $20 per kid. Get the full lowdown on the International Climbers’ Festival website.
