International Campaign for Tibet JHMG was happy to host the 5th annual I.C.T. climb of the Grand Teton July 26-28. Jimmy Chin, Conrad Anker, and 6 participants spent three days climbing out of Corbet High Camp with guides Doug Workman, Laura Deighton, and Nate Opp. Summit day was particularly rugged with full icy conditions, yet 4 participants made the 13,770' summit! Congratulations on the success.
The donations raised through the International Campaign for Tibet's Grand Teton climb all go to the The Rowell Fund for Tibet. The Rowell Fund, named after Galen and Barbara Rowell, long-time supporters of Tibet and its people, gives small grants to Tibetans who are working to promote their culture and environment. Jimmy Chin and Conrad Anker are on the advisory board for the Rowell Fund. JHMG would like to thank to the participants for their contributions, and Conrad and Jimmy for inviting us to host another climb.
