Climbing School
There are a lot of ways to learn outdoor skills but the best way is to start right—learn the skills from an expert teacher.As one of the oldest and most revered climbing schools in North America, JHMG not only provides expert guides for climbs and trips, but we are teachers foremost. Indeed, many of our guides began their professional outdoor careers as instructors for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). We can teach you basic-to- advanced climbing and mountaineering skills, as well as wilderness first-aid, winter skills, and even family-oriented climbing instruction.
We offer classes throughout the year in all of our primary locations: Jackson Hole, Cody, Lander, Las Vegas (Red Rocks), and Moab, UT. Additionally, we provide expert rock climbing instruction and guided climbing at Devils Tower and City of Rocks, ID.
