Introduction to Backcountry Skiing A short ski tour designed to acquaint you with the backcountry: tour techniques, beacon use, avalanche safety and pristine powder skiing. Vertical: 2000-3000 feet. $275 private; $160pp for 2; $120pp for 3 Grand Teton National Park Peak Skis Olive Oil, Wimpy’s Knob, 25 Short, Maverick, and Shadow Peak: Sustained effort will bring you to the summit of these peaks where you’ll stand atop the spine of the Tetons.
