Jackson Hole Mountain Guides has a long tradition of guiding and helping younger kids and their families enjoy the mountains. Most children take naturally to climbing and love the adventure of camping out and exploring new worlds. We know that trips with young people require special considerations and we've put together some suggestions and observations to assist you with your planning. Kid's Summer Climbing Camp Children, ages 7 - 11, will love this four-day camp in which they learn to climb on rock and snow and explore the Grand Teton mountains. Swimming and natural history education are also part of each day.
Kids Rock! Kids love to climb and so do we. This is the perfect class for youngsters under 12 and their parents. Everyone learns how to climb right in the middle of Grand Teton National Park! We offer a special rate for three or more participants.
Summer Teen Alpine Adventure Teenagers are eligible for our two week alpine expedition in Montana's Beartooth Wilderness devoted to backcounty camping, rock climbing and mountaineering skills. The comprehensive curriculum was developed by former NOLS instructor and IFMGA-certified Chief Guide, Rob Hess.
